LOOK AT LIFE THROUGH ROSE COLORED GLASSES · The Empowered You

LOOK AT LIFE THROUGH ROSE COLORED GLASSES

If you look at your life through rose-colored glasses, you will notice that there is always, always, always something to be thankful for. No matter how much disarray your life may become at times, it can always come back to a peaceful stream. Life is like a river and there are always going to be rapids and smooth currents. Change is inevitable and nothing stays the same.

You need to recognize that the river of life won’t always be calm and serene. You will surely come upon some rapids and these rapids are opportunities for growth and expansion. You need growth and expansion to move along in life. Embrace it rather than offer resistance against it. You can choose to see reality or you can choose to see what you want to see. This is especially important when your current reality is bleak. Don’t be afraid to put on your rose-colored glasses if it makes you feel better and gets you through tough life experiences.

Experiences in life are meant for growth, learning, expanding, improving, and training to control perspective. You can choose to perceive experiences as good or bad. There are no experiences that are bad in the eyes of the Divine Spirit. They are merely necessary for growth. The human mind puts labels on the experiences to accept or digest. The adage “Everything happens for a reason” is quite literal here. Often one cannot wrap his head around the reason why something happened. Often in these moments, anger is involved, because something was experienced that was tragic to the person experiencing it. Every time, if the person can look back on the perceived tragic experience from the present perspective, they will see the growth and the knowledge that was gained in their life from it. It doesn’t make it feel any better, but it is a way of justifying the reason.

Look at your life through rose-colored glasses and choose to see the beauty that it possesses. Give thanks every single day for your life and all the blessings that reside there. Take a hard look at the parts that you perceive as less favorable and find blessings within them as well. We encourage that you comfort yourself and choose to perceive what you need to carry you through an experience that is difficult to digest. Perception is your reality. Amen.
